The Ultimate Bachelor Party Playbook

March 23, 2026 | By Maxine Denis

Paintball is one of those quintessential bachelor party experiences. In 2025, 30% of our groups were bachelor parties. Who doesn’t want to get their bros together and shoot each other? It also hits that nostalgia nerve. I hear it all the time: “I played when I was a teenager, but I haven’t played since.” Turns out, paintball still absolutely rips, and bachelor parties are the perfect excuse to remember that.

If you’re booking this and you’re the groom, just know I will shame your best man, because he really should be the one doing it. That aside, most bachelor parties book a regular impact paintball private party. This is a 3-hour private event for just you and your groomsmen, with a minimum of 8 players. We require that minimum because fewer than 8 usually turns into hide-and-seek instead of actual shooting. If you’ve got 6 players and still want to play, we recommend open play on Saturdays from 10–6. It’s still epic, you’ll just be mixed in with other groups.

First step: book it. You’ll put down a $30 per person deposit to lock in your date and time. You’ll get a confirmation email, and this is a great moment to send the waiver link to the boys so you’re not chasing them the morning of. You’ll also want to decide if you’re hanging out afterward. You’re welcome to order pizza or bring your own food and charcoal and grill on site.

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. Wear clothes you don’t care about and bring a change if you’re heading somewhere afterward. We’ll check you in, you’ll grab a picnic table (or pavilion if you booked a bachelor package), and then we’ll do an arms briefing so everyone can choose their rental package. Each person can pick a different package. After that, we hand out gear, do a safety briefing, and your field commander takes you out.

You’ll rotate through our 8 different fields, playing two matches per field and switching sides so everyone gets the full experience. You can pick teams yourself or let your commander handle it. Between fields you’ll head back to staging to refill air, grab water, hit the bathroom, and then repeat. Most groups hit 4–5 fields depending on how quickly they move.

At the end of your reservation, you’ll have the option to put the groom through the gauntlet. The group lines up on one side of the field while the groom runs down and back getting shot at. Technically optional, but let’s be real. The only time I advise against it is if your wedding is within 10 days. Bruises happen. Sometimes on the neck. Sometimes they look like hickies. I don’t want that phone call.

Afterwards, you’ll turn in your equipment, pay for your rental packages (your $30 deposit comes off the total), and you can hang out and grill for up to an hour.

All parties get the gauntlet option and the post-game hangout time. If you book a bachelor party package, your groom also gets a t-shirt, water bottle, and sticker, and your group gets a dedicated pavilion instead of a picnic table.

You can do just paintball, or you can add archery tag and/or axe throwing to make a full day of it. Add-ons are $20 per person per hour. We usually recommend paintball first, then the add-on activity, but we can adjust the order. If you want to do all three, we suggest paintball → axe throwing → archery tag. We highly recommend booking add-ons ahead of time. We can add them day-of if we have capacity, but the only way to guarantee them is to book in advance.
