GelBlasters is our newest activity at Champion Valley, and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
GelBlasters shoot small hydrated “gellets” out of a battery-powered blaster. If you’re old enough to remember Orbeez, that’s basically what gellets are. We get them in tiny packets, hydrate them, and then let the fun begin.
They’re:
- Relatively painless
- Short-range
- Fast-paced
- And perfect for younger players
We typically recommend GelBlasters for groups with kids ages 5–8.
Why Parents Love It
We play GelBlasters on a field right next to our staging area, which means parents who don’t want to suit up can still feel close to the action. You can watch, cheer, take pictures, and still be part of it.
And because the blasters are battery-powered, when we say 90 minutes of play time, we mean it. No walking back for air. No paint refills slowing things down. Just straight play.
If your kid isn’t tired after 90 minutes, you may want to have them genetically tested. Professional athletics could be in their future.
How Pricing Works
GelBlasters is a flat $350 for up to 10 players.
That makes planning easier. You don’t have to wait on every RSVP before booking.
If you have more than 10 players, no problem. It’s $35 per additional player.
Each player starts with:
- A blaster
- 800 gellets
- Safety glasses
Refills are $5 for 800 gellets, and most players go through about two refills during their session.
Whoever is paying can absolutely set refill rules if needed. We support responsible budgeting.
After the Game
Once your 90 minutes of play wraps up, you’re welcome to use our staging area for up to an hour for cake, presents, or general birthday chaos.
We have:
- Electrical outlets
- Charcoal grills (bring your own charcoal and food)
Don’t Want to Come to Lakeville?
If you’ve got a decent-sized backyard and would rather not transport eight sugar-fueled children across town, we can also bring GelBlasters to you.
Hydrated chaos. Managed professionally.
