Activity Packages | Paintball + Ax Throwing | Champion Valley

October 19, 2026 | By Maxine Denis

Here’s what we learned from years of running group events: the best days aren’t the busiest days. The best days are the ones where people actually have time to breathe.

You book paintball, then immediately jump to ax throwing, then immediately to the next thing. You finish exhausted. Someone’s hungry. Someone needs a bathroom break. Everyone just wants to leave.

That’s not a great day. That’s a logistical nightmare.

So here’s how we actually build days now: you stack your activities with breathing room in between. You add lunch breaks. You add decompression time. You create a day that actually feels good instead of just ambitious.

The Activities. Here’s What We Offer.

Regular Impact Paintball: 3 hours

Low Impact Paintball: 2 hours

Ax Throwing: 60 minutes, $20/person

Archery Tag: 60 minutes, $20/person

Pick what you want. Mix and match. Call us with what you’re thinking and we’ll price out the paintball, build the schedule, and lock it in.

Attack on the Valley (Zombie Paintball): 90 minutes, custom pricing depending on group size.

The Secret Ingredient: Breaks

Here’s where most groups mess up. They book back-to-back activities with zero gap.

Three hours of paintball. Immediately move to ax throwing. Immediately to something else. You’re done by evening and everyone’s completely wiped.

Smart groups build breaks into the schedule.

Regular paintball (3 hours). 30-minute break. Ax throwing (1 hour). Lunch (bring your own or check on food truck info). Archery tag (1 hour).

Now you’re there the whole day, but here’s the thing—you’re not exhausted. You’re not starving. You’re not burned out.

People actually want to stick around after. People actually want to hang out. That’s when the day becomes legendary.

Sample Days That Actually Work

The Half-Day Quick Hit (about 4.5 hours total):

  • Regular Impact Paintball: 3 hours
  • 30-minute break
  • Ax Throwing: 1 hour ($20/person)

The Full-Day Balanced Experience (7-8 hours):

  • Regular Impact Paintball: 3 hours
  • 30-minute break
  • Ax Throwing: 1 hour ($20/person)
  • Lunch break (60 minutes—grab food, sit down, actually eat)
  • Archery Tag: 1 hour ($20/person)

Why Breaks Actually Matter

You think you want to maximize activity time. You don’t.

What you actually want is to maximize experience. And you can’t have an experience if you’re running on fumes.

The 30-minute break between paintball and ax throwing? That’s not dead time. That’s when:

  • People grab water and catch their breath
  • Nervous people build confidence before the next thing
  • Team members actually talk instead of just executing
  • Someone realizes “hey, I actually like this place”

The lunch break? That’s everything. People sit. They eat. They decompress. They talk about what just happened. That’s where bonds form.

The Flexibility That Actually Works

You’re not locked into a rigid schedule. You want paintball first? Great. You want ax throwing first because someone’s nervous about paintball? Perfect.

You want an extra-long break at noon to grab food? Add it. You want to sit for 90 minutes and just talk? We’re cool with that.

The point is you design the day. You pick the activities. You pick the pace. You pick the breaks.

We just facilitate.

For Corporate Teams

Three hours of paintball gets people energized and loosened up. Ax throwing gets them thinking strategically and gives them a new challenge. A lunch break gives them actual bonding time.

That’s a day that changes team dynamics. Not because of the activities, but because they had time to be present with each other.

Mix paintball with 1-2 other activities and proper breaks. It builds way more culture than a half-day corporate bowling outing.

For Bachelor Parties

Book a full day. Start with regular paintball (3 hours). Take a break. Do ax throwing (1 hour). Grab lunch. Hit archery tag or airsoft for another round.

You’ve got the whole day structured. You’re not scrambling wondering what’s next. You’re hitting different vibes throughout the day—competitive, intense, focused, then switching it up.

By dinner time, you’re not exhausted. You’re energized. That’s when the actual bachelor party happens.

For Birthday Parties

Kids have different comfort levels. Some crush paintball immediately. Some need to warm up with ax throwing first (lower stakes, just you and targets).

The breaks are essential. Kids need water. They need bathroom breaks. They need a moment to not be “on.”

Low impact paintball (2 hours) is perfect for younger groups or mixed experience levels. Then ax throwing. Then archery tag. Every kid finds their thing.

When you build the day with breathing room, every kid gets to feel successful.

What You Need to Know

Book as far in advance as you can. Three weeks minimum, but a month is better. This gives us time to build the day and give you the best slots.

Tell us what you’re thinking. “We want three hours of paintball, then a break, then ax throwing and archery tag with lunch in the middle.” We’ll schedule it, give you a timeline, and lock it in.

Show up ready to actually spend the day. Don’t book a full day and then decide to leave after one activity. You booked the day. Use it. That’s when it gets good.

Bring or plan for food. We have information on food trucks, or you can bring your own cooler. If you’re there for 6+ hours, you need sustenance.

The Real Difference

Single activities are fine if that’s all you want. But if you actually want a day people remember? If you want people to leave saying “that was incredible”? You need the full package.

Mix activities. Build breaks. Let the day breathe.

That’s how you create memories instead of just checking boxes.
