We’ve been teasing this for a while, and it’s finally happening. This October, Champion Valley is launching Attack on the Valley—our first-ever zombie paintball experience. And before you roll your eyes and think “oh, another zombie thing,” let me be clear: this isn’t some Halloween gimmick we slapped together. This is a full mission-based experience, and it’s going to be different than anything else you’ll find in the Twin Cities this fall.
Here’s the setup. There’s been a zombie outbreak. The CDC has recruited the best doctors to develop a cure, but they need specific ingredients to make the antidote work. That’s where you come in. You and your group are tasked with clearing out zombies and retrieving those ingredients from five different hot zones. You’re not just driving around a trailer randomly shooting at actors in makeup—you’ve got an actual mission, and every stop matters.
You’ll start with a briefing. Your doctor explains what you’re up against and what you need to collect. Then you board the trailer, and the chaos begins. Zombies attack. You clear them out. Your doctor directs you to gather specific ingredients from the area. You collect them, toss them into a bubbling cauldron on the trailer, and move to the next zone. Rinse and repeat through five encounters until you reach the finale, where you deliver the antidote, the zombies are cured, and they take off their masks. It’s campy. It’s fun. And it’s way more engaging than passively watching actors jump out at you in a haunted house.
This experience is built for groups. Families, friends, bachelor parties, corporate teams—anyone who wants to do something that’s actually interactive instead of just walking through a dark hallway pretending to be scared. It’s 30 minutes of action, storytelling, and the kind of adrenaline you get when you’re actively participating instead of just observing. And because it’s outside in October, you get that crisp fall air, the atmosphere of the season, and none of the claustrophobic warehouse vibes.
After you’re done, stick around. We’ll have bonfires going and food trucks on-site. Grab something to eat, warm up by the fire, and talk about which zombie scared the hell out of you or who on your team had the best shot. It’s the kind of setup where the experience doesn’t just end when the mission does—you’ve got space to hang out, decompress, and actually enjoy the night.
Attack on the Valley runs starting the second weekend of October. It’s $45 per person, ages 8 and up, and spots are going to fill fast because we’re limiting group sizes to keep the experience tight. If you’re looking for something to do this fall that isn’t the same old haunted house or pumpkin patch, this is it. Mission-based. Story-driven. And way more fun than standing in line to get jump-scared by a guy in a hockey mask.
Bookings open soon. Don’t sleep on it.
