Is a Champion Valley Season Pass Worth It? (Cost Breakdown & Savings)

May 4, 2026 | By Maxine Denis

Great question. Let’s break it down.

We offer three season pass options:

  • Paintball Season Pass

  • Airsoft Season Pass

  • Adventure Season Pass

All of them include:

  • Free admission for open play

  • Discounts on consumables (paint or BBs)

  • Discounts on private reservations

  • Buddy passes

  • And a few other perks

You can see the full breakdown of each pass here.

For this example, let’s assume you purchase either the Paintball or Airsoft Season Pass and don’t factor in consumables yet.

The Simple Math

The pass costs $300.

Open play admission is $30 per visit. That means it takes 10 visits for the pass to pay for itself.

We’re typically open around 34 weekends per year. So if you plan to come to about one-third of our open play dates, the pass is absolutely worth it.

If you’re reading this in September, it might make sense to wait until next season… but we do tend to run some solid Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals. Just saying.

Now Let’s Add Consumables (Where It Gets Interesting)

Most of our regular paintball players go through about 2,000 paintballs if they’re playing most of the day.

Without a pass, that’s about $85 per case.
With a pass, it’s $55 per case.

That’s a $30 savings per visit just on paint.

Combine that with your $30 free admission, and you’re saving $60 per visit.

At that rate, it only takes 5 visits for your pass to pay for itself.

If You Really Want to Hustle (#PaintballMath)

Each pass includes 2 free buddy passes, and those cover a Recruit Package for open play (a $50 value).

If you invite two friends and they Venmo you their $50, that’s $100 back in your pocket.

Now your pass effectively costs $200.

At $60 savings per visit, it takes just over 3 visits for your pass to pay for itself.

That’s not even factoring in reservation discounts or any extra perks.

So… Is It Worth It?

Only you can decide.

If you’re planning to come a couple times a year, probably not.
If you’re planning to make this your Saturday or Sunday ritual, absolutely.

Also, they make great gifts. Just throwing that out there.
